Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Level 1 Support Analyst to provide first-line operational monitoring and support for SAP BW, Power BI, and Tableau platforms. This role involves routine monitoring, execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs), initial troubleshooting, and escalation of incidents, as necessary. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and stability of reporting and data platforms used across the organization
Responsibilities:
Power BI & Tableau Support (24x7 Monitoring)
- Monitor scheduled report and data refresh activities across Power BI and Tableau platforms
- In case of failure, attempt up to two retries of the failed job as per defined SOPs
- Document and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams or customer contacts
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of failures and resolution status
SAP BW Monitoring (16x5 Support)
- Perform routine health checks and monitor job performance within the SAP BW environment during business hours
- Track and log issues or anomalies observed, and escalate to Level 2/3 support teams when required
- Ensure consistent follow-through on open issues until resolution
Weekend Support for SAP BW Monthly Patching
- Participate in scheduled weekend patching activities for SAP BW based on documented SOPs
- Monitor system behavior post-patching and notify stakeholders of any discrepancies
- Escalate critical issues to designated support teams in real time
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Basic understanding of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BW
- Ability to follow SOPs and standard troubleshooting procedures
- Strong communication skills for incident reporting and escalation
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends for patch support
- Previous experience in a monitoring or IT support role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and handle incident resolution with limited documentation
Work Conditions:
- Rotational shifts including night coverage for Power BI and Tableau support
- Standard weekday shifts for SAP BW support
- Weekend availability required for planned maintenance tasks
- May require working on public holidays as per business needs
